Binyang Wangling Solar Project Reaches 133 MW as Second Phase Comes Online

On December 15, 2025, the second batch of units at the Binyang Wangling centralized photovoltaic (PV) project—developed by Guangxi Beitou Binxin Energy Co., Ltd.—was successfully connected to the grid. The project, for which CNBM New Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. (a specialized EPC and engineering services subsidiary of Jetion Solar (China) Co., Ltd.) served as EPC contractor and PV module supplier, added 46 MW (DC) of new capacity. This brings the project’s total grid-connected capacity to 133 MW (DC), with all operational parameters meeting design specifications.

Since the first batch of 86.9 MW was grid-connected in July 2025, the team has navigated tight timelines, phased land availability, and challenging weather—including summer typhoons and prolonged rainfall. CNBM New Energy Engineering responded with a flexible, phased grid-connection strategy, optimizing construction sequencing by zone and batch. The team efficiently completed pile-driving, racking and module installation, and transformer placement across the PV array, while simultaneously finishing the CD/EF sections of the collector lines—including foundation pouring and tower erection—and advancing energy storage system construction. These efforts enabled the timely grid connection of 19 additional PV sub-arrays (46 MW), setting a solid foundation for the remaining capacity to be commissioned on schedule.

The Binyang Wangling project is a key initiative by the Beitou Energy Group to advance China’s “dual carbon” goals and optimize regional energy structure. With a total planned DC capacity of 201.5 MW, it is expected to generate approximately 210 million kWh of clean electricity annually—equivalent to reducing CO₂ emissions by about 177,000 tons per year. Beyond its energy output, the project has created local jobs, supported supply chain collaboration, and raised public awareness of renewable energy through community outreach—demonstrating strong corporate social responsibility.

As EPC contractor and module supplier, CNBM New Energy Engineering will continue driving the remaining construction to the highest standards, aiming for full grid connection as soon as possible. The project’s steady progress underscores the company’s ability to deliver complex renewable energy projects reliably and efficiently—and aligns with national efforts to strengthen the new energy system as China concludes its 14th Five-Year Plan and prepares for the 15th.

Jetion Solar remains committed to delivering high-quality, integrated renewable energy solutions that support green, low-carbon transitions in regions across China and beyond.
